When severe weather is forecasted — or strikes unexpectedly — having a trusted team ready to check on and protect your property is essential. Our Severe Weather Response service ensures your home is prepared before the storm and inspected afterward, giving you peace of mind while you are away.

Winter Weather Protection

During winter months, proactive preparation is critical to prevent costly damage caused by freezing temperatures and snow events. Our team may perform services such as:

Installing insulated covers on all outdoor water faucets
Dripping interior faucets located on exterior walls to help prevent frozen pipes
Opening sink cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate around plumbing
Setting your HVAC system to heat mode and adjusting the temperature to your preferred setting
Bringing sensitive plants indoors to protect them from freezing temperatures
Installing weather stripping around doors where cold air may enter
Applying ice melt prior to winter precipitation to help prevent hazardous conditions if you are returning during a storm
Inspecting the property after a storm for fallen trees or damage to the home

Spring, Summer & Fall Storm Response

Severe storms can cause damage even when you’re away. After major weather events, our team can inspect your property and provide a detailed report with photos.

Services may include

Checking the home and property for fallen trees, branches, or downed power lines
Providing a status report with photos of any damage found
Confirming whether power is active at the property after major storms or outages
Checking that your backup generator is functioning properly (if applicable)
Cycling generators during extended outages to prevent overheating
Adding oil to generators during prolonged power disruptions
Removing food from refrigerators and freezers if power loss may cause spoilage
Cleaning and sanitizing any areas affected by food spoilage after outages
